Vision Board for 2022

Here we go, another chapter ready to be written! If you read my last post, you know that 2021 was a pretty solid year for me and I have even more exciting plans lined up for 2022. With the world being the most normal it has been in the past 2 years, I can’t help but get excited for the plans I have ahead!

Journaling

One of my focuses this New Year is journaling every day and practicing gratitude more often. I had a solid routine for this at the beginning of 2021, but it fell through after a couple of months. This year I’m determined to keep this habit up so my sanity stays consistent throughout the year.

Traveling

I have a lot of traveling lined up, and all the places on my vision board are places I’ll be visiting! Some smaller trips include Coachella, San Diego, Seattle, New York, and Washington DC!

Coachella, self explanatory. I had a ticket for the music festival back in 2020, and now it’s finally happening!

My best friends from college live in San Diego, so it’s annual trip I have to take to get back together with my wild BFFs.

Some of my CA cousins and I take a trip annually to visit our other cousins in Seattle. My 2 cousins there have newborn babies, so it’s more exciting than ever to get to see the little ones grow every year.

I haven’t been to New York and DC since I was in high school. I went with family back then, but this time it’s a girls trip with my best friends from high school. Super excited to take on some more big cities with my girls as a 21+ year-old!

I also have a pretty big trip planned! I am super stoked to be visiting Europe this year!

If you’ve read my previous blog posts you know I was supposed to study abroad in Spain and France of Summer 2020, so I’m overjoyed to be making up for that trip this year. I’ll be shopping and sightseeing in Paris with my family, then relaxing and taking in the views of Italy with my boyfriend’s family. Excited is an understatement!

san Francisco

The city I call home! My roommate and I are officially renewing our lease for another year, so I’m just excited to get to explore SF more. While COVID is once again becoming a blocker this year, I hope that things start to calm down again as the months go by so I can live that SF life in all its glory.

Boxing

If you know me, you know I’ve developed a love for boxing this past year and a half. That adrenaline rush it gives me after a workout is like no other. I can’t wait to continue training and growing in my boxing fitness journey!

Cooking/Baking

I love baking! I’m no pro, nor am I trying to become a pro, but I find it soothing and rewarding to bake a sweet treat. Cookies, banana bread, brownies, any yummy looking recipes I find on Pinterest will be recreated sometime this year.

I also have a goal to try a new recipe at least once a week. Historically, I’m not the greatest at making home-cooked meals, I had a tendency to DoorDash or eat out a lot, but I’m trying my hardest to shift that habit and cook for myself more often this year.

Flowers

Who doesn’t love flowers? I’m making a promise to myself that if I see beautiful flowers at a market somewhere, I’m treating myself because I deserve it!

Quotes

I decided to include my favorite quotes in this vision board to help drive my thoughts this year:

“If it comes, let it. If it goes, let it”

This has been one of my faves since college and it has made a pivotal impact. Once I learned to release the things I couldn’t control and focus on what I can, my entire outlook on life shifted for the better.

“do literally whatever makes you happy”

It says what it says. Don’t think about anyone else’s opinion, do what you wanna do, go after what you want, and don’t let anything stop you if it makes you genuinely happy and impacts your life for the better.
